Dying/Rebirth Dream

I just awakened not too long ago. Still tired though. I had a weird dream that made me think a lot but still need some clarity.

Dream:
Started out as I walked into a kitchen and saw something in an aluminum can. I didn't notice the word on the can I just noticed that what was in this can looked like whip cream. And to my mind I was like "Ooooh whip cream yummy I'm going to get a taste." I dipped my fingers in this can and I swallowed a little bit of this and as soon as I saw the words on this can it said "Ethanol." I immediately felt the effects of being poisoned and quickly I was dying. A random old man who looked like a ghost but had a solid shape quickly gave me something special/potent/curable to drink and I gulped it down. I was going from dying to being saved. In my mind I thought to myself maybe I'm being reborn. I then saw all of my family members from both sides of my family in white limozens and they strangely didn't have enough room for me. As they were taking off one by one, I saw my mother and told her that I couldn't feel my face, that it was numb, sunking in, in pain, and my face just looked like death but this secret stuff I was given was saving me, reversing the effects of this poison. My dream ended.


Ya, as you can see why I'm confused and a tad paranoid. What is going on with this?

Ok, lot's of symbolism here. The can may represent something you want to try that is ouside of your comfort zone. It may seem deceptivly easy or good when in fact it may be self destructive. The stranger is your savior but the saving is incomplete because you need to be your own savior. Looking to your family doesn't help because they can't save you either.

This dream is telling you that it's time to be the parent to your inner child. To look to yourself when in danger or in doubt. You can not feel your face because your face is your identity.
