Let me check if this board is configured to change it. i'll poke around and see what the answer is and let you know either way. So have faith and patience and I promise to get back asap.

I think Iron man is working right now but I don't think it's possible to change the theme on this forum like you can on yours. We would have to change it for everyone but Iron would know best, he is the tech guy.

After doing some research I have found a way to change it per user setting. From what I have found the following link is the easiest way to do it. i have to say that all this is going to be over Gracies and sisters head in tech talk. It would be way to much of a risk for this forum if they tried it.

Thanks Iron man!!! I really do like the yellow so if it's not possible to change it just for Ceg's computer and it would change it for all, we just can't do that. I've had way to many people tell me that they love the yellow and that it's very cheerful and that's what we want, a cheerful loving environment.

I'm sorry Ceg if it hurts your eyes, I wish I could fix them for you. Have you thought about tinted lenses? That might help you. If your having a problem with this color you might be having problems in other areas too, might be worth a thought.

There is a way to code up a script to where users can choose their own themes. The only problem is if you don't have the script exactly right and uploaded exactly right. You could ruin this whole forum and all the hard work that has been put forth to create this great site. You have to know css and html to be able to do it. I don't have the time to do it myself. Sorry but the wife and kids have me far to busy to be able to do it properly.

all that programming is just too much todo. i also did not want to have the theme changed for everyone...just looking for something on my end.

yes, i do have a set of tinted glasses...they are 50% yellow. Smile

don't worry about it. i appreciate you checking on it, but it's just too much trouble to deal with.
thanks anyway.

Well no wonder you're always so cheery!!! I do suppose the yellow tint on the yellow background would be rather bright!!! Do you have a pair of non tinted? I don't know, really which we could help but this forum just isn't designed that way.
