I'm new here, too! Empty I'm new here, too!

Post by Lucyb Mon Feb 20, 2012 2:04 pm

About a year ago, Hatch/Gracie gave me an eerily accurate reading in UM forum. I'm glad to have found her and you all, as well.

I have a bit of ability, mostly precognition (which foolish me, I don't always pay attention to!). I'm also a SliDer, under times of stress, street lights go out as I pass under them. I also can't wear any kind of a watch, and I have negative effects on electronics. Altho cell phones appear to be immune.

The past 8 years have been the most stressful of my 60 years on this earth. I had a psychic friend, whom I met on an e-mail group, totally unrelated to "other worldly" stuff, she was a retired psychic who worked with the police. One day she e-mailed me and asked me to call her, we needed to talk.

I did. She told me definite things in the near future with a definite timeline. I shared NOTHING she said, and bingo, it all happened, exactly as she said, exactly on the days she said they would happen.

We kept in touch for quite awhile, then I got too distressed over one thing she said that I pooh poohed. THAT I didn't believe her. We lost touch. NOW, I believe her.

When I get comfy here and you all get comfy with me, I'll ask for a reading, but not until I learn about you all and you all learn about me. Believe me, I have a lot to learn, about everything and not much to teach!

I am a good cook, tho, and I have a passion for cooking, entertaining and wine. But, those days of giving parties are over. But I have lotsa recipes to share!

Oh Lucy!!!

It's good to have you here!!!! And your recipes!!!!! What a Face I'm always looking for new ones!!! I'm a pretty good cook too but there is always room for improvement!! Most people have psychic ability but for one reason or another they have ignored it to the point of losing it. There is plenty to learn here and you do have a great deal to offer, even if you don't realize it. We always need someone with common sense to help with advice. Everyone has a purpose for being here, I've come to realize.

Glad your here!!

Gracie.

Hello Lucy,

Welcome. Thank you for sharing the story about the retired psychic who worked with Police. First time I hear about a job like that.

I am practicing how to read Tarot. I believe I have a good intuition on things and can give good advice if I can on issues you may think I know about.

Anyhow, nice to meet you.

My friend was on the force, as a policewoman, not the "resident psychic,) and was able to use her abilities all the time. I believe she was injured on the job and was retired early. Mary is incredible.

I believe that most people have psychic abilities to some degree. It is whether or not people pay attention to them, try to develop them, or ignore them.

There are people with serious intuition, and use that to hurt others, my second husband...he can talk to someone for just a few minutes, and be able to manipulate them without them even realizing it. If a person can be evil...he is. Then there are people with the same ability of intuition and become healers of all kinds. My physician is an intuitive doctor.

One time, with one look at me, no touching, no "how are you," just a step into the exam room, looked into my eyes, from 5 feet away, she turned around, not one word from either of us, left the room, came back in a few minutes, "sign here, here and here. I'm admitting you to the hospital. I'd like to call an ambulance, but we aren't far...can you drive?"

Turns out...my potassium level was so low, I was at heart attack level!

Nice to meet you, too, Purpolonia, I hope we can be friends.

My current physician isn't the only intuitive doc I've had. One doctor, in New Orleans, my hometown, was one, as well. The first time I met him, it was his office, fully clothed, not in an exam room. He nailed several conditions I had that no one ever even considered, again, just looking at me. Didn't even look at my medical history, yet. At the time, he one of the top ten diagnosticians in the country. I've had a few not so good docs, but the best in my opinion, are intuitives.

Ask anything you like about me, it's how we get to know each other. How about you, Jen, what's some inneresting experiences you've had?

That's really cool that you've had all those intuitive doctors - I wish I could find one of them! As for me, I haven't had too many crazy experiences...all the females in my family are empaths (which is...interesting), and Gracie has given me an awesome reading on here. Smile OH although I did get my palm read once when I was in high school and that was quite accurate. Personally, I read tarot, and have premonitions (not usually spontaneously, unless it's a dream), and sometimes I sense spirits.

I've been told I'm a psychic's dream "client." I'm very open to the "other world," and "other worldly" abilities.

I've had psychics read me, and get so emotional about what's happening around me, what I am thinking. One psychic, in Iowa, kept turning back her timer and got out of breath, trying to cram everything about me in her 15 allotted minutes. We lived near the oldest spiritualist camp west of the Mississippi. I had taken my elderly sister-in-law and her 5 adult daughters there as a lark. I got there late, and so was the last one read. Each had gotten something out of her reading. Mine was mind blowing.

One thing that astounded me, was that she saw a lovely young woman standing behind me, long brown hair, soulful brown eyes. ""She says she is 'Little Person.' She says she is so so sorry, but she had to do it, she was in so much pain, but she wants you to know she's ok now, and while still not in Heaven, she's getting close. She loves you and she has only good feelings for you." I had just found out that my former step daughter, who had lived with her father and me for several years as a child, had committed suicide 7 years before, NO one had told me, her father insisted I not be told. Finally, my ex-inlaw did. She was 23 when she shot herself. NO one knew about her, or her suicide, except my husband. Little Person WAS our private nickname for her. This psychic was from out of town, just in for the annual meeting. NO way she could know me or anything about me. Everything she said stunned me, she was in tune with what I was going thru, what I was considering doing (having an affair! I didn't tho, I know better), that my husband was a lying cheating dog, and so on. She begged me to come back, later, she wouldn't charge her (measly!) 15 bucks, she had so much to tell me, that was so important, that charging me would be a sin for her. I was so shaken, I didn't go back. There are just some things that one really can't handle hearing, yanno? At least not at that particular time...

Goodness! Sounds rather dramatic. Well, guess we have lots to look forward to when you get readings. Smile

Yeah, my life just won't settle down. I don't go looking for drama, I lead a very quiet, private life.
